Always the second Sunday in June, the 2012 edition falls on June 10, so mark you calendar today! We are actively searching for volunteers to help make 2012 the best year yet. Please contact Neall Distad or Bill Maurey if you wish to help-out with this year's edition of Sunday in June.
The 34th Sunday in June was outstanding! Everyone enjoyed the cool riding conditions, good food, and great camaraderie. Eight hundred people registered for the June 12 event including the volunteers who staffed it. Seventy volunteers were from the Cleveland Touring Club and ten from the Lake County Amateur Radio Association. Most of the registrants were from Northeast Ohio, but some were from Maryland, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and distant parts of Ohio. Please help us make Sunday in June even better by sending us your suggestions. See you in 2012.
Annual Meeting
We had a great turnout with 59 members attending the meeting at the North Chagrin Nature Center. Pizza was served at 6:00 PM and the meeting ran an efficient two hours. See the Presentation.
Freeze d' Ride
About a dozen of us welcomed in the new year by attending the Freeze d' Ride (Da Gone Cold). This annual tradition follows a lakefront route starting in Mentor-on-the-Lake to Headlands Beach State Park and return. The ride took us to Headlands beach... and it was quite warm. Only a few sprinkles fell on the return trip. Please join us next year!
